Dan Wurtzel, President of Cooper Square Realty, is a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), licensed real estate salesperson and experienced management executive.Dan joined Cooper Square Realty in 1987 as a property manager when the company had four employees and less than 1,000 units under its management.Over the years, he was promoted to positions with increased responsibilities including Vice President and Executive Vice President.He was named Chief Operating Officer in 2001 and President in 2009.
Dan was recognized early in his career as an outstanding manager for the meticulous financial planning and the controls he instituted to navigate buildings through the tough financial waters from the late 1980s to mid 90s. He combines a keen understanding of the needs and concerns of boards and building owners with management and communication skills. He has received numerous awards and for his accomplishments and professional standards.
As the company's President, Dan uses his outstanding organizational abilities to assemble quality teams of professionals and expand Cooper Square Realty's services while maintaining the highest levels of quality, service and integrity.
Dan served on the RAM National Board of Governors from 2003 to 2006. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a B.S. in marketing.
