Tal Eyal is Chief Operating Officer of Cooper Square Realty, and the founder and president of Cooper Square Project Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary that oversees residential and commercial construction projects in the tri-state area. He is a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), and a New York State licensed real estate broker.
Tal joined Cooper Square Realty in 1990 as one of the firm's first property managers.
Projects overseen by Cooper Square Project Management include the replacement of more than 10,000 windows in less than a year in lower Manhattan, the creation of a new heating plant in a landmark development, development of commercial space at Madison Avenue and East 62nd Street and Local Law 11/waterproofing projects in more than a dozen buildings throughout New York City.
With his business background, Tal views each building or project as an individual corporation that needs to generate income and increase the value of the asset.
Tal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from a joint program at New York University/New York Institute of Technology, and a certificate from the New York University Real Estate Institute. He served in the Israel Defense Forces, where he achieved the rank of Captain.
