Petra A. Bergstrand, Executive Managing Director, is the Team Leader assigned to build Cooper Square's Private Management portfolio, which includes ultra luxury properties in New York. Prior to this role, Petra managed a portfolio of luxury condominiums as part of Cooper Square's Developer Consulting and Management Division.
In her assignments at Cooper Square, Petra successfully uses her high level of organizational skills to open new properties for developers and transition them into day-to-day operations with an extraordinarily high level of customer service. Her resume of properties includes The Plaza, 20 Pine, The Collection, 985 Park Avenue Condominium, The Grand Madison, The O'Neill Condominium, The Link, The Galaxy, The Smyth Upstairs, and 325 Fifth Avenue Condominium.
Prior to joining Cooper Square in September 2006, Petra served as the right hand to the founder of Kinsey Corporation for three years. In this role, she was responsible for properties in downtown Manhattan including the highly-developed, condominium and commercial-oriented Meat Packing District. In addition to property management, Petra also played an integral role in managing new construction and building renovation projects for both residential and commercial buildings across New York City.
Petra began her career in real estate in Sweden, where she assisted in running the family-owned real estate brokerage firm for more than a decade. After earning a European business degree, she moved to New York in 1998, where received a dual bachelor's degree in international business and marketing from Pace University. She was named one of the Top Ten Women in Residential Real Estate for 2010 by New York Residential magazine.
