Steven Hyatt, Executive Vice President, has built an excellent reputation for service, commitment and attention to details during his impressive 25-year career in property management. He is a Registered Property Manager (RAM). As Executive Vice President of Cooper Square Realty, Steve heads the companys Brooklyn office overseeing a staff of 40 that manages 27,500 units in 135 properties. Steve was the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President of Wentworth Property Management when the company merged with Cooper Square in 2009.
During his years in management, he has been responsible for numerous types of properties, developing an expertise in each. This includes FHA 213, Mitchell Lama, co-op, condominium and rental housing. Steve began his career in the not-for-profit sector managing properties for one of the largest community providers of group residences and social services. He then moved on to a large Brooklyn-based firm. In 1999, he was designated Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President of Wentworth Property Management.
Steve is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and is certified by the NYS Department of Housing and Community Renewal in Energy Management Practices and uses this expertise in efforts to reduce energy costs for client buildings while protecting the environment.
