At Central Park Place, a 300-unit condo at 301 West 57th Street, Cooper Square Realty has installed the concierge desk of the future. The concierge has a computer, which contains a list of residents and can easily track guests, deliveries, resident requests and work being done in apartments. The system holds messages for residents and special instructions for such matters as access to apartments and giving out of keys.

"The system is proving to be a great convenience for residents," said James Heller, Cooper Square vice president and Central Park Place's property manager. "As they leave or enter the building they can leave a message for the super that something needs to be attended to. Our concierge desk computer is linked to the superintendent's computer as well as those located in the managers office and the package room."
"The new computer system keeps a permanent record of activities in the building," said Louis DuCharme, board member. "It speeds up the announcing of guests, increases our efficiency in taking messages and provides a record of deliveries and work being done in the apartments."
